SPANISH

A LEVEL

A Level Spanish is a fascinating and varied subject that provides students with a broad and incredibly important range of knowledge and skills. In a world in which global relationships are often a necessity for businesses and organisations to thrive, having an additional language is extremely useful for a wide range of future careers.

The course develops your ability to communicate in the language and extends your knowledge of Spanish literature and civilisation. There are plenty of chances to improve your authentic Spanish, as you will have small group conversation sessions each week with our Spanish assistant.

Much of the work involves discussion and debate on important issues of interest to students; you will also have the opportunity to watch and analyse some Spanish feature films.

‘The improvement in my Spanish during the two year period was clear with my confidence to speak increasing a lot.
