Watch our Film

Students from Marple Sixth Form College teamed up with award-winning film production company Video News Agency to create a dynamic film about college life.

Based on the idea of condensing two years of study into just a few minutes, the film follows a Marple student’s journey while at college- from the excitement of the first day to the nerves to receiving exam results two years later.

Over 100 of our students worked on the production in a wide variety of roles including over 30 actors who appear on screen.  Marple students also helped organise the shoot, assisted in setting up scenes and sourced props.

In addition These Mortal Cities, the Derbyshire rock band who lent their upbeat indie anthem ‘Casanova Can’t Dance’ to the production, are former Marple Sixth Form students.

We hope you enjoy it.
